Novofen general info.
Aside from treating breast cancer, Novofen is commonly used by bodybuilders and athletes to prevent gynocomastia which is a type of tumor that develops in the mammary gland. It blocks the estrogen receptor in breast tissue. And it’s ideal for those who inject steroids that are capable of converting estrogen.
Once a cycle of steroids is finished, you would want to bring back normal levels of testosterone production. If only oral steroids were used, post cycle therapy should start immediately. If short acting esters or water based injectables
were used, PCT should start within 4-7 days after the last injection was made. If longer acting esters were used, PCT should start 1.5-3 weeks after the last injection. It also depends on the specific steroid.
The length of PCT normally runs between 3-5 weeks. The general rule of thumb is that the longer acting the product used was, the longer the therapy should be. When used properly, novofen can help the athlete regain natural production and normalize all other factors fairly quickly.
Doses of both clomid and nolvadex should be tapered down.
Standard Novofen Post Cycle Therapy for bodybuilders.
Week 1 (or 2): 40-50 mg of novofen daily.
Week 2 (or 3) – Week 4 (or 5): 20-25mg of tamoxifen daily.
Novofen or clomid can be used on-cycle as anti-estrogens and post-cycle to help normalize testosterone production quickly.
A standard dosage of novofen on cycle as an anti-estrogen would be 10-30 mg a day. The amount used would depend on what effect the user would like to elicit. More would clearly elicit a stronger effect. However, users should determine how much they will require by starting at lower dosages. They should work their way up so as not to use more than they require. In order to obtain the desired effect. For those who are using highly aromatizing substances such as testosterone suspension, using nolvadex during cycle will probably be a smart idea to start early in the cycle. The same goes for those who suffer from a sensitivity to estrogen.
Novofen during a cycle.
If problems of gyno show up during a cycle, the use of 20-30 mg of novofen should take care of the problem. This quantity of nolvadex should be used until several days after symptoms subside. Just to be safe.
Using anti-estrogens or aromatase inhibitors during cycle will reduce your gain slightly. Therefore they are not recommended to use concurrently. At least unless gyno or estrogen related symptoms show up. Exceptions to this are for those who are highly sensitive to estrogen. For example those with a genetic predisposition to gyno. Or those using highly aromatizing substances.
Nolvadex and breast cancer.
For treatment of breast cancer, Nolvadex (Tamoxifen citrate) is meant to be taken as advised by your physician. The dosage is usually dependent on the patient’s current condition. it also depends on his body’s response to therapy.
It’s strongly advised that the medication is administered at the same time(s) every day.
